CARE International Indonesia seeks Provincial Project Coordinator
Provincial Project coordinator (PPC)
Lokasi: South Sulawesi — Closing date: 21/9/2008
The Provincial Project Coordinators will supervise directly the District Coordinators, work closely with the Project Specialists and coordinate with the Director of LNGOs working for SWASH. More specifically the PPC will assist and support the PM in the following activities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate project implementation with the PTCT;
- Developing detailed implementation and budget plans for provincial level;
- Establish relationships with key project partners at all levels of the GOI and LNGOs;
- Oversight implementation of all project components in the related province;
- Supervision of district project staff;
- Monitoring of all project activities;
- Budget monitoring and oversight;
- Provide technical support as necessary to the district coordinators
- Coordinate, facilitate and supervise the implementation of the project socialization workshop to the districts;
- Determine the training need necessary for project implementation;
- Organize SWASH and LNGO staff training as required during the project implementation;
- Organize regular and annual review meetings with key stakeholders to monitor project progress and develop responsive actions for the problem developed;
- Manage in developing manuals required for project implementation; and
- Assist the PM and PTCT in developing matching funds.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree from Civil Engineer or Social Science
- Minimum 3 years experienced in water sanitation, gender and community empowerment.
- Able to coordinate and liaison with local government
- Excellent Leadership
- Good communication skills
- Good in Bahasa Indonesia and English is an advantage (oral and written).
- Good computer skills (ms. Office programs)
- High sense of responsibilties
