Indonesia: Strategic Vision for Agriculture and Rural Development A joint publication of ADB and the Ministry of Agriculture reviews the achievements that the country has made in agriculture and rural development over the last three decades, and presents a strategy to achieve a vision of a more prosperous and diversified rural economy by 2020.
It is based on the findings of an ADB technical assistance which also supported the formulation of a medium term strategy for the sector, which in turn was used as a vital input in the preparations of Indonesia’s Five-Year Socioeconomic Development Plan.
